Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I share my love of home décor, clever storage ideas, and making the most of small spaces.

I’ve lived in a small home for years, so I know a thing or two about trying to make a room look good when there isn’t a huge amount of space to work with.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rearranged furniture, convinced that moving the sofa to the other side of the room would somehow make everything feel bigger.

Sometimes it worked. Other times, I’d spend an entire afternoon moving things around, only to put everything straight back where it started!

And don’t get me started on storage.

When you live somewhere small, you quickly discover just how much stuff you actually own. I’ve spent years trying to find clever ways to hide clutter, organise cupboards, and make sure everything has somewhere to live.

I’m also a bit fussy about how things look. I love a tidy, well-put-together room, but I don’t want my home to feel like a showroom where you’re afraid to put your feet up.

For me, it’s about finding that balance between somewhere that looks lovely and somewhere that’s actually comfortable to live in.

How This Blog Started

Over the years, I’ve picked up quite a few tricks when it comes to decorating and organising smaller homes.

Some I’ve discovered through trial and error, some through hours of looking at interiors online, and others simply because I’ve had to get creative with the space I’ve got.

I’ve made my fair share of decorating mistakes too. Buying things that looked great in the shop but didn’t quite work at home, choosing furniture that was just a little too big, or trying to squeeze one more thing into an already crowded room.

Eventually, I thought, why not put everything I’ve learned into a blog?

So that’s how this blog came about.

I wanted a place to share the decorating ideas, storage finds, and little home improvements that I’ve found useful, along with plenty of new inspiration.

I’m particularly interested in making smaller homes look and feel more spacious, but I love home décor in general.

You’ll find ideas for decorating living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms, along with practical ways to organise your home and make better use of the space you’ve got. I’m a big fan of finding affordable alternatives to expensive-looking interiors. I enjoy seeing a beautifully designed room and figuring out how to achieve something similar without spending a fortune.

And while I appreciate a gorgeous home on Pinterest as much as anyone, I’m more interested in ideas that work in real homes, with real budgets and all the everyday clutter that comes with living in them.

I don’t claim to be an interior designer. I’m just someone who’s spent years figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and how to make a home feel a little more special.

Hopefully, you’ll pick up a few ideas here that you can try in your own home.
